Spring is in the Air
Spring is sorta here. The sun is shining. The trees are getting greener, well maybe half of them are and of course it is raining almost every other day! Yay Spring.
The good thing is Isabella and I have recently gotten over a cold and I have no been able to actually update my shop.
Since March Dawanda has had a pinboard for the color of the month. This month is yellow and to bring some sass to spring I made these yellow dice earrings. Also in hopes of making my items look more dynami I invested in some jewelry stands. Isabella picked out the the earring holder below. I showed her pictures of 2 and whichever she smiled screamed or giggled at was the one I got. I think she made an excellent choice.
I also have been working on some new necklaces. I made a mold using a hollow charm and some leftover clay. All you clayers out there probably have a stash of clay that is just leftovers so making push molds is a great way to use them. I then used the mold to make a charm, fired it, and then painted it to give it a distressed look.
I also have recently added some geisha pendant necklaces to my shop. I used seals, origami paper, liquid clay, and high gloss sealant to create these wonderful necklaces. Here are a few examples:
So I would love to hear from you with any feedback, comments, or even some mindless babbling..Just go wild ad have a great spring!
