Up with the sun

April 17th, 2008 by Andreanna

I have been up since around 5:30am. Isabella woke up for her early morning meal and then I just could’t get back to sleep. I took a long soak in the tub and enjoyed my early morning until Sandro’s cell phone went off…again…and again. He casually slept through the alarm but ,of course, Isabella did not. Well there went my long morning. I knew she would have slept until 8 but nooooo. Not too happy abobut it but at least she is being good and enthralled in a water bottle. The only downside is I am really thirsty and she has my water bottle. Ho hum.

Last night the in laws came over and Isabella saw her grandparents for the first time since she was a week old. She was hesitant to go to them but by the time they were leaving she was crying because she still wanted to play with her nono.

She also got a present from Sandro’s Nonna who is going a little senile. Poor woman but last time she gave our newborn underwear. This time she gave her some clothes sized 12 months. The only problem is that they are cold weather clothes and course a dress and stockings. I don’t like wearing pantyhose myself so I refuse to put them on my daughter unless they are the stripey warm ones not the itchy going to church ones. I might just take all the dresses she has put her in them and take a photo so the senders can be excited she wore the dress. (I do like some dresses but in the winter it really is senseless to put her in one since it is still cold. In the summer sundresses will be most of her wardrobe especially ones with matching hats to keep her little head from burning.)
