Kristin from Mean Bean Bags

Kristen makes adorable bags that are made with at least 50% recycled materials. She also makes shiny things aka jewelry and stitch markers. The fact that most of the bags are made with recycled materials should be reason enough to love them but if that doesn’t work then you can always go on the fat that they are just so cute! Well lets see what she has to say about them.

What…is your name? Kristin

What…do you make? Meanbean bags!! :) They’re awesome, and everyone should have one!!

What… is your favorite color? Purple. Deep, dark purple that you can get lost in.

What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? (Ok you really don’t have to answer this one.) Oh but, it depends on the swallow! Is it an African swallow? They’re different from the swallows in England you know! (vague Monty Python reference…)

What … is your main influence? To be honest, my inability to find the perfect bag to stick inside my existing bags….there are very few out there that aren’t makeup bags, and if you can find them, the cost is exorbitant. My aim is to reach people like me, who just need a little bag or two to carry little bits apart from the rest of the necessary stuff we schlep around in our bags :)

Where… is your shop? http://meanbean.dawanda.com of course! :) i don’t have a brick and morter store, but do have goods available locally as well!

Thank you so much Kristin for being my first guinea pig. So what are you waiting for go get some Mean Bean Bags!
