Deerwoman creates high quality jewelry that is affordable for everyone. Her designs can be worn to spice up your daily outfit or to go out to a nice dinner. Well let’s see what she has to say for herself.

What…is your name?
Deerwoman Designs. I go by Deerwoman on the net.

What…do you make? I make jewelry from gemstones and precious metals (sterling, fine silver and 14K gold-fill. Gold on custom orders). I am now using some copper and silver and copper coated resin beads in an attempt to keep my prices low enough. Now that precious metal prices are out of sight, using them exclusively will put me in too high a price range for many. One of my goals is to create good jewelry that anyone can afford and that will last a long time. I also want to use as high a quality materials as I can afford to buy. The copper I have obtained is quite nice and I’m beginning to imagine a lot of new designs. I’ Il be putting some in my gallery on Artisans Market soon. There’s also a lot of info about me and the way I work there.

What… is your favorite color? I love all colors, and my preferences for the day change according to mood. But if pressed I’d have to say anything in the blue to blue-green range and of course, turquoise.

What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? (Ok you really don’t have to answer this one.)

What … is your main influence?
For my jewelry it is the gemstones themselves. Some days certain ones just jump out wanting to be used. I look at them for a while until I begin to get ideas. I often find I’m working on a theme with the one I have chosen, so you will see that when you look at my gallery.

Where… is your shop? http://www.artisansmarket.com/Artists.asp?ID=312
