Mariana of Florcita

Mariana makes intricate felted items as well as paper goods. My favorite are her Pio Pio cards!
What…is your name? My name is Mariana. Spanish name because that is my first language, I’m Argentinean.
What…do you make? Different things. I started out as a little girl with clay… I’m a ceramist first. I like drawing so there are a few cards (and in the future prints) to be found at my shop. A few months ago I discovered wet felting (or hand felting) and since then I’m going crazy exploring that medium: bowls, booklets, bags, pouches… I also have started exploring the book-making process… so, a bit of everything. It’s all part of developing as an artist.
What… is your favorite color? RED! always…bright and strong.
What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? (Ok you really don’t have to answer this one but extra points if you do :D) errrrr…200!
What … is your main influence? Nature. No question about it.
Where… is your shop? DaWanda! http://en.dawanda.com/shop/Florcita and my blog: www.florcitasart.blogspot.com
