Lynn of Sweet Vibrations

July 2nd, 2008 by Andreanna

Lynn makes lovely wire wrapped jewelry that corresponding to certain characteristics according to ancient lore. They are believed to resonate with certain chakras in the human body. Some of them include Mariposite for reducing fear and easing transitions (like moving far away from home.) Well let’s see what she has to say!

What…is your name?

Lynn Schermerhorn (yep! loved him enough to take that name 35 years ago)

What…do you make?

Wire Wrapped Stone Jewelry (examples attached). This began as a hobby ten years ago then it expanded into a business. Since I live high in the hills in the Comstock Lode area of Virginia City, Nevada, I get a lot of beautiful sunsets (my favorite time to wrap).

What… is your favorite color?

Blue has always been my favorite color…but I just love color in general.

What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Not certain but I like the way you think! (Ok you really don’t have to answer this one.)
What … is your main influence?

My muse. I don’t know my muse’s name as she/he hasn’t revealed themselves yet. I know they are there though because I try so many crafts and get my inspiration from somewhere :-)
Where… is your shop?

I have two online shops…Sweet Vibrations at http://www.sweet-vibrations.com and Wrapped in Silver at http://www.wrapped-in-silver.com. I also have an etsy store at http://www.sweetvib.etsy.com. Stop by sometime!
