The ducks and I am the world’s worst blogger!
Two weeks ago the duck that had decided our balcony was the best spot to build a nest had 11 ducklings. One never hatched but 11 is a huge number according to the wild bird rescuer that came to get them to take them to the wild.
Now they were supposed to jump off the balcony but if you see that little wall in the photo. The ducklings couldn’t jump it. Even if they did they would then be stuck in an enclosed garden so being stuck on our balcony made the whole rounding them up much easier.
Since I am the worst blogger ever I do read or at least skim other blogs. Here are some great posts I came across lately
Whatthecraft.com addresses why you shouldn’t worry about copycats which hits any of us creative types hard. You just have to let it go because if people copy you that just proves how awesome you are.
Fake Ginger makes some grown up strawberry slushies. I think I need these in my life for now and all summer.
Swiedebie has a post about using clothespins to store ribbon. I usually end up with a giant knot of ribbons which I end up either cutting apart or eventually throwing away.
So that was the last really interesting thing to happen around here. Stay tuned for more normal everyday posts the next time I remember.
So now enjoy my picture of a tulip

Thanks Pili! Yeah I was so excited I kept giving mama duck grapes everyday while she was sitting on the eggs. It was really exciting going outside and seeing the babies peaking out from the mama duck.
